Today while doing my daily procrastination I watched Pewdiepie’s video making fun of CoD (Call Of Duty for the non gamers out there). In this video he plays Spyro the Dragon, but not any Spyro game. He plays the FIRST ONE (I guess) for Play Station 1. That brought me a lot of memories. Spyro was one of my favorite games to play on the PS1 when I was a kid, and boy, how many hours I spent killing those weird green creatures and de-frosting big useless dragons.
So I decided to talk about some of my favorite games to play on my ol’PS1. Be careful, there are a lot of hardcore games there.
I never actually finished this game (or any other on this list) but I spent hours trying to. I played and replayed a lot of times it was really fun, and that dragonfly that would follow Spyro everywhere was really awesome too.
Which Crash Bandicoot, you ask. Well, you name it, probably all of them, but I only remember 3 now. Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot Warped and Crash Team Racing .
Forget what I said before, I probably did finished the Crash Team Racing and Warped, I’m not sure now but I think I did. I remember that I didn’t finished the first Crash because the CD kind of stopped working and the game would freeze or wouldn’t even start. Also I was pretty damn good at the CTR, I would beat everyone, I played a lot with my mom (yes my mom used to play some of these games), my sister and my cousins .
OK THIS ONE WINS EVERYTHING! I’VE SPENT SO MANY BLOODY HOURS PLAYING THIS BLOODY GAME!! YOU GUYS HAVE NO IDEA!!!
If I was going to make a list of hours I’ve spent playing games this one would loose only to The Sims (all of them together, since the first one). My mom probably played this one more than me, and I think it was the first game I bought and played on my PS1. I wouldn’t even care about the story or anything, I spent hours creating the best bloody farm and growing all the kinds of things.
So, these are the games I played a lot on my PS1. If this post brought you old gaming memories, tell me in the comments what games you used to play in your childhood!
